Diagram Series

The building shape is based on following the Master Plan of the Club, in order to protect, safety and general welfare as they relate to the construction and occupancy of buildings and structures.

A concept for a house located in the North of Mexico, where the weather is extreme and always humid.
The material palette is chosen by asking the natives who lived in similar conditions in Mexico. The answer; big walls made by rocks found next to the ocean. Isolating each room to handle better the temperature. Less volume, less air to control, therefore human comfort.

Cross Section

Natural Ventilation through openings, to optimize the path air follows through the house. Windows have been placed on opposite sides of the building give natural breezes a pathway through the structure.

Stone and Clay

Based in the Vernacular architecture, the house is designed focused on local needs, availability of construction materials and reflecting local traditions.
